Florence the capital of art is an open air museum as well as hosting some of the most important art pieces of the world in the Uffizi and Accademia museums. Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and so many other masters are represented here with their famous works. Florence is also a wonderful place for shopping and great food. It is a smaller city so enjoying it on foot is easy.

From Florence you can easily visit the wonderful Tuscan countryside and enjoy the smaller medieval towns of the region. And of course for those who love food and wine, you are in heaven with world famous wineries and small quaint specialty shops and restaurants.

Italy in general is an all year destination. Rome, Florence and Tuscany are ideally visited in the Spring summer and fall.
